For founder Eric Taylor, a passion for the skies began long before the birth of Drakon Aerial Imagery. Growing up, Eric watched his father’s collection of miniature RC helicopters evolve into the cutting-edge drone technology of today. That early fascination eventually led him to the U.S. Army, where he spent six years working hands-on with military helicopters, honing an absolute precision and respect for aviation standards.
After transitioning to civilian life, Eric brought his technical expertise to the solar industry, utilizing drones to help homeowners map layouts and analyze electrical potential. It was there that he found his true calling: bridging the gap between advanced aerial technology and practical, data-driven solutions for real estate, inspections, and local business. Today, Drakon Aerial Imagery leverages that unique background to provide Kansas with a better perspective. Safely, professionally, and strictly by the book.
Meet Our Drones!
We currently utilize three drones, with access to many more.
DJI Inspire 1: An older powerhouse! As one of the early pioneers of drone cinematography, this 12-year old beast still has plenty to bring to the table!
DJI Mini 4K: For those awesome indoor fly-throughs! Small enough to go room to room, with propeller guards for safety. This little guy will capture stunning 4K video of any interiors you may need!
DJI Mavic 4 Pro: The top of the line! This cutting edge photography drone can capture 100MP stills and 6K video! It is capable of 3D mapping through photogrammetry, and so much more!
Others: While those are the ones we own, we have access to thermal imaging drones, LIDAR-mapping drones, and may more. Just let me know what you need and we will make it happen!
